This inviting, family-friendly restaurant offers a collection of classic Italian dishes, including pizza with Italian sausage that’s ground in-house. The specials list always has a number of interesting choices, especially when it comes to seafood, chops and steaks. Country Italian dishes of note are the mussels in red sauce, chicken Parmigiana and grilled salmon topped with pesto sauce. Then there’s the porterhouse in Vesuvio sauce --- it’s definitely worth the splurge. Moving on, count on cannoli and tiramisu-type desserts. The atmosphere is convivial, flowing through from the bar into two spacious, well-appointed dining rooms (with oversize tables for parties of six or more). Service is professional and accommodating.
