THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Rock Bottom's menu offers proven crowd-pleasers: chicken wings, artichoke dip, salads, nachos, steak, salmon, Gulf shrimp, bacon-chicken mac ‘n’ cheese, cheesy mashed potatoes, huge slices of carrot cake fit for two. Beer is brewed in-house. Tourists flock to the convenient downtown location, and multiple TVs entertain sports fans. The airy two-story space provides ample room upstairs for beer drinkers to play pool, while hungry diners can chow down in the dining area. Children are welcome and have their own menu, which even includes steak, along with sturdy high chairs. Portlanders know the outdoor patio is a pleasant place to hang out on warm summer evenings.
