Song' E Napule Restaurant Review:

Song’ E Napule, which means “Sono di Napoli,” or “I am from Naples” in the Neapolitan dialect, is a diminutive 15-seat spot and a great find. Run by a charming couple from Naples --- she works the front of the house, he is in the kitchen --- the place serves first-rate pastas and good pizzas. The menu boasts a few items one does not normally encounter outside of Naples: the pasta dish paccheri alla Genovese, a meaty preparation Neapolitans usually reserve for eating at home on Sundays; and scialatielli alla scarpariello that utilizes larger-than-linguine pasta and smothers it in a cherry tomato sauce. Pizzas are numerous; the simpler the better, so stick to the margherita (tomato sauce, mozzarella and basil) or the Napoletana (the same as a margherita but with oregano and anchovies). Enjoying the panna cotta with chocolate syrup is a sweet way to end the meal.
