Sushi Sono Restaurant Review:

Its light-colored wood appointments, handsome sushi bar, and crisp blue-and-white noren (Japanese fabric room dividers) would make this place inviting even if it didn't have a long bank of glass windows overlooking Lake Kittamaqundi. Throw in a varied, well-executed Japanese menu and you've the makings of a very pleasant meal. Start with lightly smoky shrimp shu mai or perhaps takosu (octopus with vinegar sauce) before moving full tilt through a sushi combination plate laden with attractively cut fish, or perhaps a casserole cooked at the table, like sukiyaki or yosenabe. Beer and wine are served. Private parties can reserve one of two tatami rooms separated from the main dining room by sliding screens.
