Tin Lizzy's Cantina Restaurant Review:

The Mexican-inspired menu at Tin Lizzy's Cantina offers soft tacos, a variety of fresh salads, nachos and quesadillas with such non-authentic adornments, in the case of the quesadillas, as barbecue. Tacos come with fillings not seen in the dish's native land, such as buffalo shrimp. And these, small and heavily coated as well as over-fried, are not a good example of the genre. The queso fundido, however, is rich and filling, with chorizo for texture and flavor, and the fresh tomato salsa is exactly that, with a hint of cilantro. "Skillets" come in half and full sizes, and offer a base of rice and vegetables to which the customer may add proteins such as chicken or beef. An extensive margarita list, 30 premium tequilas, signature cocktails and more than 30 beer selections supply distinctive quaffs. An outdoor patio, with its own full-service bar, offers a commanding view of Atlanta's skyline and adjacent Oakland Cemetery in Grant Park. Opening locations all over the northern metro area, Tin Lizzy's offers a half-dozen spots in which to enjoy the apple empanada for dessert (kissin' cousin to the fried pie).
