Tony's On The Pier Restaurant Review:
Tony's On The Pier in Redondo Beach sports an old-school, nautical vibe with nets on the ceiling and colorful glass fishing floats giving off a glow. On the ground floor there’s a bar and a tiered dining room that ensures all diners can get a glimpse of the ocean from this prime pier location. The upstairs bar area, Top of Tony's, offers a limited menu along with phenomenal, 360-degree views. "Tony's Famous Mai Tai" is quite notorious and comes in a complimentary souvenir glass. Other specialty cocktails, beer and wine are also available. The menu is heavy on seafood, but steaks and chicken teriyaki bring a bit of variety. Start off with deep-fried calamari and move on to charbroiled halibut or fish and chips. Most dinner entrées come with soup, salad and choice of linguine with clam sauce, fries, baked potato, rice pilaf or vegetables. Desserts include chocolate mousse, red velvet cake and a few flavors of cheesecake.
