Cafe Amici offers a menu of reasonably priced rustic Italian cuisine served in generous portions amid a warm atmosphere. For starters, choose from grilled asparagus and oyster mushrooms in a lemon dressing, a beet salad with diced apples and walnuts, or a hearty cannellini bean soup. Respectable pizzas come with toppings such as mozzarella and roasted chicken sausages, or a white version with prosciutto. Pastas are plentiful and include spaghetti with clams, linguini with smoked chicken breast and homemade fettuccine with veal bolognese sauce. Entrées range from grilled beef tenderloin with a balsamic reduction to grilled chicken paillard and New Zealand lamb. The decent wine list touts big-name producers from California and Italy.
