Trattoria Contadina Restaurant Review:
Chef Salvatore Parra infuses both his tried-and-true and more adventurous offerings with a practiced, elegant touch. On the must try list is fettuccine alla Salvatore (imported noodles, smoked chicken, mascarpone, peas and sun-dried tomatoes). Desserts can stray from typical Italian bittersweet models to outright richness. The restaurant is a comfortable wood-paneled refuge from the madness of Columbus Avenue below, and genuinely gracious service and large portions will further soothe the ruffled commuter, office worker or shopper.
