This chain, a transplant from California, will teach you to think about pizza in a whole different way. In fact, you’ll leave with the impression that an apple pie pizza for dessert---spiced with cinnamon, sweetened with melted caramel, and dusted with confectioners’ sugar---is one of the kitchen’s more delightful concoctions. But the rest of the pies are not the expected versions either. Take the Greek, for example. Clearly, you’ll find feta and kalamata olives to add texture and flavor, but there’s plenty of mozzarella added to this vegetarian option. Sandwiches include the super pollo Latino, a mix of sliced grilled chicken marinated with lime juice and served with a topping of avocado and salsa. Want a salad only? We can recommend the ZBQ, a big bowl of barbecue chicken, corn, black beans, mesclun, onions and enough chipotle ranch dressing to hold it all together.
