THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Mesopotamia Restaurant Review:

Colorful mosaic wall tiles and etched-glass light fixtures make for a Middle Eastern art deco look, but the menu is even more surprising. Thanks to a Turkish owner and a Belgian chef, Mesopotamia’s food is a little of both. That’s why you can get smoked eggplant dip or honey-baked goat cheese salad, followed by grilled striped bass with Hoegarden beer sauce or steak au poivre with Belgian fries. The early bird special features soup or greens, an entrée, dessert and coffee for just $11.95. But if you’d rather come late (the kitchen serves until 1 a.m. every night except Sunday), try the grilled lamb. The wine list is international menu and includes some impressive choices for under $20.
