Mi Tierra Restaurant Review: This very friendly Salvadoran spot is a perfect dining option on Waltham's multi-cultural Moody Street. Order a beer and tuck into a menu that begins with a lengthy list of appetizers. We like the banana leaf-wrapped tamales, pupusas---stuffed corn tortillas---and fried plantains slathered with sour cream. For main courses, there's fare like shrimp in garlic and a simple but flavorful grilled skirt steak. If you like heat, the green table sauce will clear the sinuses. |
