THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS Michael Timothy's Restaurant Review: The walls are brick accented with colorful modern art, but it's the warmth from the wood-fired oven that brings in the crowds. Start with a New England crab cake topped with a fried egg and spiced up with a pepper mayo then share one of the popular pizzas right from that oven, including one with steak and asparagus. Smoked salmon comes on a crisp potato chip and a wood-grilled pork porterhouse is decadent with the addition of barbecue pork belly. The traditional vein continues to the end of the meal, with a strawberry cream cake coated in chocolate ganache or a white chocolate cream brûlée. Perfect with the live jazz playing most nights. |
