Michael's Cafe Raw Bar & Grill Restaurant Review: Long known for its swinging suburban bar scene, Michael's expanded its dining rooms, adding a two-story space dappled with sports memorabilia and a small outdoor seating area shielded from the York Road traffic by a thick stand of pine trees. The menu rounds up a neighborly collection of Mediterranean and American fare. Raw or steamed clams, oysters and mussels make a good prelude to chicken Chesapeake, veal Marsala, broiled orange roughy, or a jumbo lump crab cake. Lighter fare, too, is available at dinnertime in the form of sandwiches and salad platters. The kitchen is competent rather than inspired, which doesn't deter a line from forming in the lobby for a table on weekend nights.
