THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Midnight Blue Restaurant Review:

Orlando chef Jephanie Foster’s second restaurant is a pared-down version of her successful restaurant, Blue. Grab a seat inside, at the bar or one of three small tables, or outside on the breezy enclosed patio. The menu is great for snacking over drinks or for a whole meal---tempura haricots verts, Korean pork dumplings and Middle Eastern-inspired lamb kebabs are fine for sharing over cocktails, while the Wagyu beef sliders, decadent white cheddar mac ‘n’ cheese, and Asian sesame-crusted tuna tataki hit the mark for more substantial fare. Though most of the menu consists of small plates, there are three entrée-size portions of seared scallops, hanger steak and Asiago-crusted mahi mahi if you’re not into sharing. Dessert selections are simple pleasures: crème brûlée, bread pudding and cupcakes---and then there’s the tempura Twinkie, an even guiltier version of the classic. A selection of international cheeses is also available and is served with crackers, fruit and nuts, ideal for pairing with a glass of wine during Midnight Blue’s late happy hour, which doesn’t start until 10:30 p.m.
