Huge portions of quality beef and fish are the main draw, with à la carte toppings like citrus-chili hollandaise with asparagus and crab. Potatoes, spinach and squash appear in abundance in updated American salads and sides. The lengthy wine list features plenty of affordable bottles, sorted by critic ratings, varietals and geographic regions to make it approachable. Most days, the upscale steakhouse is full of people sitting amid glass-fronted cabinets where baseballs, bats and jerseys repose as objets d’art. But come game day, a thousand red-clad fans, beers in hand, pack The Outfield, the casual outdoor patio facing Busch Stadium.
