Mikko Japanese Cuisine Restaurant Review: Perhaps the smallest sushi bar in San Diego County serves as the centerpiece of this compact and affordable Japanese restaurant on the edge of downtown Carlsbad. The sushi chef devotes considerable attention to attractive presentations of his fresh seafood, and the kitchen does a good job with such classics as beef and chicken teriyaki, shrimp and vegetable tempura, and stir-fried yakisoba noodles, as well as such less typical choices as Japanese-style barbecued beef ribs and sesame chicken. |
