Mill Pond House Restaurant Review: Be it in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking the water, Mill Pond House serves tasty, classic dishes with a firm emphasis on seafood. The menu is a bit unfocused and ranges from American to French to Italian; stick to simple and local. Appetizers include clam chowder and various salads; seafood lovers will enjoy the raw bar and sushi menu, both presenting quality selections. Mains include surf and turf, among the latter USDA Prime cuts of beef. We also recommend the fish; check the specials for the fresh catch of the day. For desserts, try the chocolate peanut butter tart, and the cheesecake of the day is usually a winner, too. The wine list is extensive, with nearly 20 options by the glass and several dozen more by the bottle. The only hitch is the service, which doesn't always match in quality what's on the plate.
