THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Mirabeau Bistro Restaurant Review:

The focus is on food at this unpretentious Dana Point spot. Co-owners David Pratt and Katie Averill worked in some very rarefied kitchens before opening Mirabeau, and it shows. Their daily specials are always surprising and often sublime. The regular menu is obviously meant to appeal to the masses; it offers everything from foie gras to steamed mussels to steak frites. The main reason to like this place, though, is that everything's made from scratch and prepared à la minute. Affordable prices and friendly, personalized service add to its appeal. The owners intended this to be a restaurant for all occasions, and it is---but you might want to think twice before dropping by on a Friday night without reservations.
