Miracle of Science Bar & Grill Restaurant Review

: Central Square’s Miracle of Science has a menu resembling a periodic table, drinks served in beakers and condiments kept in test tubes. Granted, there's nothing really experiential about the food, though it does go beyond standard bar fare. Aside from the ballyhooed char-grilled burger, there are lighter items like chicken, vegetable and shrimp skewers with fruit salsa, cheese quesadillas and a grilled chicken salad. Beers outnumber wines with a nice selection of microbrews on draft, though quality counts in both cases. Finish with a bowl of Toscanini ice cream or a simple chocolate brownie. The place gets crowded in the evenings, but at lunchtime seating is a breeze.
