MistralKitchen Restaurant Review

: William Belickis' multi-tasking establishment offers the choice of dinner as well as small plates. There's also a craft cocktail bar ready to serve happy hour-celebrants, date-night couples and festive groups. A meal may start off with Kumamoto, Kusshi and Shigoku oysters, followed by a salad course of burrata, baby arugula, figs and saba. Main course choices may include Alaskan halibut with squash, corn and piquillo peppers, or breast of moulard duck with lentils du Puy, and a garnish of radish and pea vines. Meanwhile, cilantro syrup could bring an unexpected note to a dessert of coconut pudding, pineapple and passion fruit foam. MistralKitchen's wine list has a global focus, which differentiates it from most of Seattle's high-end restaurants that tend to focus on local wines. Service is casual but professional.
