 Mix Restaurant sits inside Orange County’s sizeable Hilton Anaheim, which is located right next to the Anaheim Convention Center and across the street from The Disneyland Resort. The lobby has a sleek, modern and welcoming design, as does Mix with its warm dark woods, sophisticated minimalism and subdued golden lighting. Chef Kyung Soo Carroll takes a farm-to-table approach with the menu. Start with the refreshing goat cheese salad, veggie quesadillas or beef sliders on brioche buns. As for mains, we enjoy the Cobb salad “shaker,” the Asian spices on the grilled Pacific salmon, and the moist pork tenderloin. For those in a hurry, go for the always-available soup, salad and dessert buffet. The by-the-glass wine list is rather short, but bottled wines include some notable varietals mostly from California and France. There’s also a good list of organic and sustainable wines.
