Miyabi Restaurant Review:

This Greenwich Village sushi spot isn’t the best place to eat Japanese raw fish in the neighborhood, but it’s not the worst and it’s certainly more affordable than its brethren. The lunch special is a deal and the dinner service is decent. There’s hardly ever a wait, unlike at the lauded Tomoe down the street. Sushi rolls are standard and non-fish dishes include good takes on tempura and satisfying-enough bowls of soba noodles. And while Miyabi bills itself as a Japanese spot, there are, inexplicably, a small handful of Thai noodles dishes on the menu. Stick to Japanese fare, complemented by a glass from the affordable saké list, and you can’t go wrong.
