Mizlala Restaurant Review:
Chef Danny Elmaleh (Cleo) took over Simon’s Café, his father’s popular Moroccan restaurant in Sherman Oaks. Simon Elmaleh still makes the place’s trademark beef and lamb merguez sausage, but his son has updated the Moroccan menu with saffron lemon tagine, octopus and grilled branzino, alongside falafel, lamb and steak kebabs, and seasonal salads. Expect a small wine list featuring some Moroccan wines.
