THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Moghul Palace Restaurant Review:
Though we personally have never seen him, Bill Gates has been known to frequent this sophisticated, two-tiered dining room tucked away in a downtown Bellevue strip mall: mogul, meet Moghul. We don’t know what he likes to eat, but we favor curried mussels steamed in ginger, garlic and tomatoes; roasted eggplant sautéed with onions and tomatoes; and Bangla Wings, fiery little devils rolled in flour mixed with half a dozen spices, battered and fried, then sautéed in a chili-spiked tomato sauce. The creamy, tomato-y masala lamb curry is also mighty tasty and yogurt-mint chutney helps put out the fire. Tandoori specialties include such unusual items as salmon or baby back ribs in mango and soy sauce. The lunch buffet can be lackluster in presentation, but at the bargain price we’re not complaining---and we don’t think Bill is either.
