| Located at the entrance to the Polaris Fashion Place, this restaurant entices with a playful Asian atmosphere. Bamboo greenery, Asian artwork and red lanterns overhead help set the mood. Chef Max Tat excels at satisfying, artistically presented dishes like firecracker shrimp, Mongolian garlic steak and mango chicken. Our favorite, however, is Molly’s Feast with stir-fried Japanese eggplant, tomatoes, broccoli, green beans, mushrooms and crispy tofu in a garlic sauce. Be sure to sample the spring rolls, handmade and filled with shredded Chinese vegetables served alongside sweet chili dipping sauce. Molly Woo’s offers teas served in cast iron teapots, in delicate flavors like white tangerine and ginger-peach. For those looking to drink a bit harder, there's a variety of beers from around the world, plus wine, saké and umbrella concoctions (try the lychee mojito). For dessert, the banana spring roll, a crispy fried roll filled with bananas, crushed peanuts, peanut butter and chocolate served with vanilla ice cream, is a go-to. |
