Décor is a little dated, but there’s a festiveness from hanging papier mâché flowers and a multitude of Thai statues, and a solid menu all about the land once known as Siam. The kitchen sticks to such tried and true dishes as pad thai, ginger pork and drunken noodles, or fried fish cakes with cucumber relish and sweet-and-sour sauce. Sun-dried beef (deep-fried marinated strips served with a tangy vinegar-based house sauce) dispels visions of Slim Jims and there is a panoply of curries and vegetarian dishes as well.
