 Mon Ami Gabi Restaurant Review: Though you might write it off given its mall locale, Mon Ami Gabi is a top contender when it comes to bistro dining. There’s a romantic air about the place, from its tiled floors and vintage-inspired bar to its pleasing menu of pepper seared ahi salad, steak frites, garlicky escargots and mussels bathed in white wine. But we especially like the home-style roasted chicken and basil oil sea scallops with ratatouille. Trout almandine is quite good, too. As for sides, don't miss the French green beans. Among the desserts, the butterscotch pot de crème is luscious, as are the profiteroles. |
