THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Monty's Stone Crab Seafood Restaurant Restaurant Review: A branch of the Miami-based Montys, this addition to Atlantas seafood scene proposes to keep us well supplied with the noble stone crab, whose delectable claws come in three sizes here. Choose medium (juicier) or large (meatier) for appetizers or entrées, to be dipped into perfectly crafted mustard sauce---this is pure South Florida tradition. Then move to a creamy, delectable she-crab soup flavored with the perfect hit of medium dry sherry---pure South Carolina tradition, Lowcountry-style. Florida bouillabaisse combines perfectly cooked shellfish with a medium-bodied, saffron-scented tomato sauce. Be clear about the doneness you prefer for your fish or it could come way overcooked. Mango-kissed salmon is a hit, but now comes with a side dish of grits. The wine list is not what wed like to see; but the Domaine de la Perrière Sancerre is perfect with most shellfish dishes, and the Saintsbury Pinot Noir will take on the grilled tuna, the spiced mahi mahi and the aforementioned salmon.
