Morton's The Steakhouse Restaurant Review: Morton's doesn't look like a shopping center restaurant. Ala Moana Center did a remarkable build-out that left the restaurant looking like an exclusive private club --- all mahogany and leather --- in a discreet corner of Hawaii's busiest retail center. Morton's is, of course, the upscale national chain specializing in Prime aged beef. The server wheels up a cart tableside to do a show and tell on the menu. The bone-in Chicago rib-eye is a testament to the power of our primal carnivore selves. Service is always spot-on while the Grand Marnier soufflé is an airy ending to a hearty meal. The wine list is impressive, extensive and mostly expensive. |
