Morton's The Steakhouse Restaurant Review: Just as at its other outposts, this suburban Morton's looks like the paneled dining room of a private club and has the same hushed atmosphere. In these comfortable surroundings big deals go down, along with the super steaks and chops and all the side dishes. Elegant, expensive wines are available to seal these deals, but if you're just there for dinner, you will be treated as well as the corporate magnates at the next table. We still don't like the wrapped meats on display, but can't argue with success. And there are all the elegant shops of The Mall for before- or after-dinner browsing. Check out the Bar Bites menu, $5 eats from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. until close, which includes filet mignon sandwiches, Prime burgers, crab cakes, iceberg wedge bites and more. And ask about wine events and dinners. |
