At.mosphere Restaurant Review: Perched on level 122 of downtown Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, is this grill and lounge affording expansive city views. An elevator whisks guests to level 123, where staircases descend to an arrival lobby and the Adam Tihany-designed restaurant. The open kitchen turns out contemporary European, eclectic cuisine. Begin with seared scallops with parsnips and duck bacon, then move on to tenderloin with baby spinach, mashed potato and mushroom jus or wild sea bass with clams. Desserts may range from a citrus soufflé to “The Mini At.moSphere,” chocolate ice cream, pecans and dulce de leche. Complement your meal with a selection from the beverage display or wine cellar. A chef’s table can accommodate twelve diners. The lounge offers drinks, light lunch fare and afternoon tea.
