Mr. Bartley's Burger Cottage Restaurant Review: Burgers are the name of the game at Mr. Bartley’s. Across from hallowed Harvard Yard, this famed burgermeister has been grilling burgers and whipping up thick frappes for decades. Freshly ground, hand-formed and cooked as ordered, the burgers --- most named for stars and politicians --- are among the best in town. There’s the Tom Brady cheddar burger, the Oprah burger and the Joe Biden burger. We prefer the freshly cut sweet potato fries and onion rings to the regular fries. In addition to the aforementioned frappes, refreshing lime rickeys are also available. The quirky, memorabilia-filled cottage's fame far exceeds the bounds of Cambridge, so expect to be sandwiched between not only students but carnivores of all types. |
