A cut above the average, Mr. Charlie’s Fortune Cookie is where we go when we want ultra-fresh Chinese food. The menu is extensive and includes most of the Chinese dishes well known to Americans, plus a few specialties with a European slant. Seafood is of note, especially chef Henry’s signature shrimp with broccoli and snow peas in light white wine sauce. The tung-an sea bass comes bathed in a pungent ginger-garlic-jalapeño sauce, while the dynasty platter combines filet mignon, scallops and shrimp in a sizzling hot stir-fry, prepared tableside.
