Mulino's Restaurant Review

: A softly illuminated and tastefully appointed dining room and a menu of Northern Italian cuisine set the scene at Mulino’s. Cold poached asparagus, roasted peppers, sun-dried tomato and chopped egg is a nice starter. Among fresh seafood offerings is a platter with chilled lobster, jumbo shrimp, Alaskan king crab legs and more, while meat entrées range from a simply prepared roasted prime rack of lamb with sage sauce to a double-cut veal chop stuffed with prosciutto, fresh herbs and cheese with a cream sauce of brandy, shiitake mushroom and petite pea. But don’t overlook the pastas. We recommend the baby lobster tails with black linguine tossed in a light tomato sauce, and the risotto with porcini mushrooms, finished with white truffle butter. A sweet finish is guaranteed via an array of desserts --- think cheesecake or consider the “Renaissance” built with layers of almond meringue, chocolate cream, mocha butter cream and whipped cream with toasted sliced almonds. Service is professional and friendly.
