The Munch Factory Restaurant Review:

This dependable restaurant with moderate prices is located a bit out of the way from most parts of the city. Yet The Munch Factory remains a respectable choice for lunch or dinner. Be prepared for lots of families and kids in the dining room, creating a high noise level. Basic New Orleans-style comfort food includes wings, fries, oysters, shrimp and nachos as typical appetizers, while mains run the gamut from rib-eye steaks and blackened redfish to shrimp and grits. Choose as well from a number of sandwiches, including slow-cooked pot roast, grilled cheese and a huge overstuffed oyster loaf. Twice-baked potatoes and sweet potato fries are must-haves. We also recommend the house bread pudding, but only if you can resist the beignets drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce. Wines are not a priority, but there is a full bar.
