Muss & Turner's Restaurant Review

: Chef Todd Mussman handles toque duties, while Ryan Turner manages the operation and the front of the house, thus the restaurant’s name. The place offers options for all kinds of dining, from grab-and-go lunches to taking fine fare to enjoy at home. Properly produced foodstuffs are important: North Carolina-raised grass-fed beef for the burger; Niman Ranch pork; Georgia's Springer Mountain chicken; Logan Turnpike grits; selected Sweet Grass Dairy cheeses. Mussman's menu changes daily, picking its way through Southern delectables, such as pork belly and fried green tomatoes, and handles most of them deftly. Lots of cooking is done on the Big Green Egg, which seems always to be busy smoking meats. More than 25 old-world and new-world wines are offered by the glass, and a whole raft of beers (about 60) makes great quaffs. Desserts come from the hand of Gary Scarborough, corporate pastry chef based at the team's Buckhead restaurant, Local Three Kitchen & Bar. They do not disappoint.
