THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Myra's Dionysus Restaurant Review: Around since 1977 and a fixture in this urban neighborhood, Myra's Dionysus draws tree-huggers and dessert-lovers alike. The menu features Greek, Mediterranean and "global vegetarian" options --- that means everything from vegetarian curry to a decidedly un-Cincinnati-style chili sans meat. There’s an oat-based “P.C. burger" and an “FBLT” with faux bacon. But the restaurant’s real claim to fame is its selection of soups, eight choices daily like asparagus and spinach, yam-apple or green pea and barley. Seven rice combinations are available, too, from those with Indian spices to a Turkish dish of eggplant and tomato. Meanwhile, sandwiches, like the gyro or falafel, are so-so. Desserts, however, are special. Try the vegan mousse (before they run out for the day) or the baklava. The atmosphere is cozy and the patio in the back is shaded.
