Myra's Dionysus Restaurant Review

: College kids at the nearby University of Cincinnati point all new-to-town vegetarians and vegans in this direction. Around since 1977 and a fixture in his young, urban neighborhood, the place draws tree-huggers and dessert-lovers alike. Known for its Thai pumpkin soup, this eclectic spot with changing local art features Greek, Mediterranean and "global vegetarian" options---that means everything from vegetarian curry to a decidedly un-Cincinnati-style chili---sans meat. The menu includes an oat-based “P.C. burger" and an FBLT with faux bacon. But its real claim to fame is its selection of soups (eight choices daily, like asparagus and spinach, yam-apple or green pea and barley). Meanwhile, sandwich choices, like the gyro or falafel, are so-so. Desserts, however, are special. Try the vegan mousse (before they run out for the day). Myra's also has an extensive catering menu, a cozy atmosphere and a shaded patio in the back.
