Myriad Gastro Pub Restaurant Review:

Locals duck in to buck the chill for the warm embrace of this cozy eatery’s inviting staff and comforting fare. Espresso leather booths and smooth, satin nickel chairs seat 74 around grained wood tables. Chef-owner Trish Tracey’s (ThirstyBear, Momo’s) approachable host of shared snacks and small plates pivot on local, seasonal ingredients. A light hand guides the savory chicken liver mousse, playful salt cod fritters with lemon aïoli and crispy capers, and an airy deviled egg with salsa verde. The grilled peaches with creamy goat cheese mousse and toasted hazelnuts, and Tracey’s signature crispy chicken sliders with Mexican slaw make for fuller fare. Larger plates, such as the pappardelle with pork cheeks, baby peas and kale, are well-balanced but formidable dishes. Myriad offers roughly 40 California-weighted wines (17 by the glass), 13 beers by the tap and bottle and a craft cocktail lineup anchored in fortified wines. An eclectic troupe of desserts traffics heavily in airy creams.
