THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Myth Restaurant Review:

The stark space that formerly housed MC2 was transformed with warm copper, chocolate and olive tones, intimately arranged tables and cloth banquettes. The contemporary American menu features starters like local sturgeon caviar, warm sweetbreads salad infused with mustard and bacon, and a salad of pears, blue cheese and candied cashews. Pizzas bridge the space between starter and entrée, making them fine cocktail food. Try the grilled chicken with caramelized onions and rosemary or the fig, fennel and Fontina dotted with pancetta. Large plates include no less than four fish options, and many of the dishes are available in half portions, allowing diners to sample more of the menu. Try the mushroom-dusted scallops that sit atop chanterelle mushrooms and potato purée. Steak lovers will appreciate the grilled New York strip with roasted cipollini onions, crisp french fries and béarnaise sauce. Sommelier Alex Fox exudes enthusiasm as he cruises the room, expertly pairing his hand-picked wines to the food. The service, while competent, doesn't rise to the level of the rest of the experience.
