THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Napoli Restaurant Review: The red sauces flow freely at Napoli, an unassuming Metairie spot thats off the beaten track but worth the trouble to find if youre a fan of such Italian-American standbys as spaghetti with meatballs, eggplant Parmigiano and veal in familiar wine-and-butter sauces. The owner was a former waitress at Tony Angellos, which means youll also find oysters Bienville as Tony would do them---rich with cheese, cream and mushrooms. At midday, specials such as beef brisket with spaghetti and red beans and rice seem to be the draw. Prices are rock bottom and décor is virtually nil.
