Chefs come and go and its menu changes seasonally, but Nathan’s retains a firm hold on its popularity as an after-hours destination because of its friendly staff and cozy, lean-on-the-bar atmosphere. Located at the main Georgetown intersection of Wisconsin and M, it attracts tourists as well as locals, who’ll drop in for burgers, sandwiches and heavier fare. But its main reason for being is its bar---figure on crowds from late afternoon on.
