Native Foods Restaurant Review

: Nestled within the granola confines of the shopping complex The Camp, this uniquely non-traditional eatery is in a well-suited location. What’s surprising about Native Foods is the convincing texture and taste of chef Tanya Petrovna’s meat alternatives. Everything from the burger patties to the boneless chicken wings are handcrafted to create the illusion of the real deal. Exotic quinoa and other grains, along with a multitude of fresh and vibrant produce like kale and peppers, unite to prove being one with nature can be as tasty as it is rewarding. To wash down your new favorite dish, don’t neglect the lavender lemonade or Native’s signature teas. These agave-sweetened, alcohol-free, all-natural libations are almost as exciting as the colorful organic entrées that go so well with them. Not near Costa Mesa? The restaurant also has locations in Tustin and Aliso Viejo.
