This very small and hidden Persian eatery serves kebabs and not much else. Maybe the secret to its success is keeping the menu simple with just a full complement of kebabs from chicken and Cornish hen to tenderloin and ground sirloin, the last being a flavorful morsel. Appetizers include the famed kashke bademjan (the sautéed eggplant dish with grilled onions) and shirazi salad. Unlike most Persian places, the kitchen does not bake its bread on the premises but uses instead the flat lavash cut into sheets.
