The intimately-sized spot carries zero pretense and plenty of character, driven by hip touches like inspirational quotes scrawled in colorful chalk and proper lo-fi funk and hip-hop emanating from speakers. The low-key vibe juxtaposes a menu filled with high-minded morning fare that makes the long wait required to snag a weekend seat worthwhile.
