Blink and you might miss this little gem near General Hospital. Pink linens cover the tables, and lacy curtains cover the windows facing the street. A huge menu offers an array of delicious soups, appetizers, meat and vegetarian dishes and seafood (including abalone sautéed with vegetables). Among a few French specialties are duck à l’orange (at $8.95!) and a charbroiled eight-ounce steak, served with French onion soup. The imperial rolls alone will keep you coming back. Best of all, you can feast like royalty here and barely make a dent in your wallet.
