| Choose from 17 pages and close to 200 items categorized into appetizers, small salads, pizzas, pastas, chicken specialties, grilled steaks, seafood, burgers, sandwiches, large salads, egg dishes, desserts and ice cream desserts. A glance at just a few of the 28 appetizers should further illustrate the style of food served at this constantly crowded café: bruschetta, barbecue duck dumplings, buffalo chicken taquitos---all served in gargantuan portions. Seriously, the salads are about a foot high, the omelets resemble couch cushions, and if you can finish an order of the breakfast pancakes you are most likely suffering from some eating disorder. Desserts include homemade French pastries and big gooey sundaes. Then there are the seven pages of beverage selections, including margaritas, mojitos, martinis...Americans love the concept of big food at moderate prices. Nexxt also offers a prime Lincoln Road location with hundreds of seats shaded by umbrellas. They all get filled, too, which makes for hectic, sloppy, but ultimately bearable service. |
