Nick's Cove Restaurant Review

: Designed by restaurateur Pat Kuleto, Nick’s Cove is a charmingly restored roadhouse alongside scenic Highway One that features a 50-seat patio overlooking Tomales Bay. The quirky, rustic, wood-beamed interior is filled with hunting and fishing Americana, a long, mahogany bar and inviting fireplace. Oysters are the name of the game here, and Nick’s provides them aplenty and of the freshest, highest quality. If you crave something meatier after the long drive, you won’t be disappointed by the wood-fired Meyer Ranch rib-eye, simply accompanied by roasted potatoes and Point Reyes Farmstead blue cheese butter. Also on the menu: free-range roasted chicken, elk loin with blackberry port sauce, and Loch Duart Scottish salmon with asparagus purée, roasted cauliflower and fava leaves. The wine list is surprisingly extensive and offers a special list for oyster pairing.
