A follow-up to the well-established Chicago outpost, this suburban sibling also does its namesake catches right, serving nicely prepared, fresh fish. A plush, tastefully maritime-inspired setting and attentive service ensure dining here is a date-worthy affair---especially if you opt to order the decadent lobster Thermidor (though admittedly it’s a splurge at nearly $60). Slightly more down to earth, the Dover sole is a worthy investment, cloaked in sweet brown butter. There are dishes for landlubbers, too, but they’re not really why folks dine here. While waiting for your food to arrive, take time to ogle the large tropical fish tanks in the low-lit dining room. For dessert, the Key lime pie is topnotch.
