| A charming ambience and a patio add to the experience at this well-known regional Italian eatery on the edge of River Oaks and Midtown. The Mandola family owns three restaurants at this complex and the authentic dishes come from old family recipes. We’re fans of the thin-crust pizzas that come piping hot from the wood-burning oven, particularly the Cippolino smothered in caramelized onions and roasted garlic. Pasta dishes are hearty and filling; we recommend the fettuccine scampi and the crispy Italian bacon-topped penne amatriciana. The veal Vincent with artichokes and lemon butter is another favorite dish. |
