Nobu Restaurant Review:

Nautical-themed Atlantis hotel has larger than life aquariums that line the halls and lobbies leading to Nobu’s entrance. The Rockwell Group created the interior for Nobu Dubai, which features fluid bamboo frames rolling from the ceiling to the floor contrasting cutting-edge design with Arabian influences. An extension of the Atlantis, Nobu’s marine-like theme fits into the ethos of the environment. Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s menu is nothing to be taken lightly either and there is much to explore, with an array of hot and cold appetizers, sushi and sashimi, plus modern and classic Japanese mains. Yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño offers the best of fresh Japanese-style seafood with a touch of the Peruvian, a Nobu trademark. Black cod yuzu and eggplant miso is popular among the UAE clientele. If tempura is part of your order, then the rock shrimp tempura with creamy spicy sauce is a must; the crunchy shell coated in the signature sauce has been replicated but never duplicated in many Dubai restaurants. There’s ample variety among desserts, with the Fuji apple tart served with vanilla sauce and guava sorbet on the top of the list with the Nobu cheesecake not far behind. The saké menu is extensive, followed by interesting cocktails plus a Champagne and wine list proposing selections from around the world. Nobu at Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai, checks every box off the list, but there seems to be something missing when compared to the London/LA/New York counterparts.
